Midlife Flight

Midlife Flight is a flight instruction and pilot training service in the Denver, Colorado area, led by Mark Kolber, a Certified Flight Instructor. The business focuses on sharing the enjoyment of flying through part-time, independent instruction, primarily at Centennial Airport (APA). Training is available through Flights Inc. and Aspen Flying Club, which the site describes as offering rental aircraft and instructors, as well as in a student’s own single-engine airplane. The site also promotes learn-to-fly packages and mountain flight instruction, and provides links to general aviation information.

Kolber’s experience includes earning his private pilot certificate in Massachusetts in 1990, an instrument rating in Connecticut in 1992, and a commercial certificate after moving to Colorado. He became a flight instructor in 1999. His aviation activities also include membership in the National Association of Flight Instructors, service as an Angel Flight West mission orientation pilot, and participation as an AOPA Project Pilot instructor.
