Mid-Mo Hoops Preview is a Mid-Missouri basketball magazine focused on the upcoming high school season. Created in 2021, it aims to become an annual tradition while delivering comprehensive coverage of boys’ and girls’ teams across the Central Missouri region. Its annual edition previews more than 200 teams, with a one-page story about each team’s season written by Ben Arnet, Sports Director for KOMU TV-8.
Coverage includes returning starters, top newcomers, team statistics, and other season information. A panel of local basketball experts also provides a prediction of each team’s record, helping readers get a sense of what to expect. The magazine is supported by local business advertisers, whose participation also helps distribute copies to the community.
Readers can find print copies at participating locations or view online editions covering the North and South. The publication’s goal is to produce a high-quality, informative guide for basketball fans, families, and communities following high school hoops throughout Mid-Missouri
