Midnight Serenaders is a high-energy retro-swing sextet based in Portland, Oregon. With a repertoire that includes hot jazz, vintage swing, Hawaiian instrumentals, and blues, they bring the raucous and carefree music of The Jazz Age to life. Formed in 2005, this charming sextet captures the essence of the small swing combos popular in the 1920s and 1930s, adding a unique Hawaiian flavor with ukulele and Hawaiian Steel guitar.
Led by the talented crooner and rhythm guitarist Doug Sammons and the ukelele-strumming chanteuse Dee Settlemier, the Midnight Serenaders perform specially chosen gems from the past and original songs with a vintage sound. They continue to captivate audiences throughout the Pacific Northwest with their brand of hot retro-swing at clubs and events
