Midnight Terror Haunted House is a seasonal Halloween attraction in Oak Lawn, Illinois, serving visitors from Chicago and the greater Chicagoland area. The experience combines traditional scares with modern technology in actor-driven, immersive environments designed to bring visitors into a series of themed nightmares. Its multiple attractions and scare zones include Black Oak Grove, the ShadowTek Gear Factory, a sinister carnival, and Rotten Hallows cemetery.

Beyond the haunted-house attractions, guests can enjoy axe throwing, carnival games, fast-paced escape rooms, photo opportunities, palm reading, magicians, and jugglers. Artist Alley offers handmade horror goods, spooky merchandise, and souvenirs created by local artists and the Midnight Terror team. The venue also hosts a daytime, family-focused trick-or-treat event with entertainment and shopping.

Located at 5520 W 111th Street, Midnight Terror is about five minutes from I-294. Its 2026 season is scheduled to run on select nights from September 25 through November 1. Tickets, directions, event details, and seasonal promotions are available through the brand’s website.
