Midsummer is a convention management software platform built by convention organizers for conventions and other events. Currently in closed beta, it offers a modular suite that organizers can use as a complete system or select by need, with tools for events ranging from 100 to 10,000 attendees.

The platform supports registration, vendor and dealer applications, scheduling, staff management, user access, merchandise sales, inventory and logistics, and self-service kiosks. Organizers can build and update forms across registration, vendor applications, panel submissions, and online stores without developer assistance. Other features include QR and NFC check-in, badge printing, staff scheduling and timekeeping, point-of-sale tools, barcode-based asset tracking, and permission-based roles.

Midsummer also supports multiple events under one organization, shared staffing, custom event domains, and multi-year event setup. Its RESTful API and data export options help organizations connect existing systems and retain access to their information. The service integrates with customers’ Stripe accounts and uses pricing based on event size, with no hidden fees stated.
