Midtdjurs Skytteforening

Midtdjurs Shooting Association is a community-based shooting club in Ryomgård, Denmark, welcoming children and adults, women and men, as well as families. With around 70 members, the association presents shooting as a sport that develops concentration, precision and composure while offering excitement and a shared activity for people of different ages.

Members practise with air rifles and .22 calibre rifles on the club’s 15-metre indoor range. During the summer season, 50-metre prone shooting is also available in Rønde. Newcomers are welcome to attend a training evening, where a qualified club instructor provides guidance and helps them get started using the association’s rifles. Regular training takes place on Monday and Thursday evenings, and the club also takes part in competitions and events across Jutland.

Midtdjurs emphasises friendship and inclusion alongside sporting achievement, with activities such as group trips, special training days for teenagers and social games during breaks. The club competes in DGI and Danish Shooting Union events, celebrates members’ results, and organises an annual charity competition supporting Knæk Cancer.
