Midwest 49ers

Midwest 49ers Minor Hockey is a youth hockey organization serving players through competitive A and B teams across multiple age divisions, from U10 to U18. The organization provides a structured setting for young athletes to develop their hockey skills, compete in league games and tournaments, and build teamwork and confidence. Its website supports players, families, coaches, and team officials with schedules, results, organization calendars, team information, and contact resources.

Player development is a central part of the 49ers’ activities. The organization offers skills sessions and clinics, including on-ice instruction and goalie-specific training, and shares coaching, manager, and trainer education resources. It also provides guidance and forms for player affiliation, team-official commitments, vulnerable sector checks, and travel permits. Families can find information about sponsorship opportunities and team fundraisers, while the Team Finder App helps users access team details. The 49ers compete in local games and tournaments and have celebrated notable achievements, including OMHA and Ontario Hockey Federation championships.
