Midwest Airsoft Reenactment Society

Midwest Airsoft Reenactment Society LLC (MARS) organizes multi-day airsoft reenactment events designed to immerse participants in historically grounded military scenarios. Its mission is to recreate the experience of an average infantryman in a company-versus-company engagement, using authentic uniforms and equipment, established chains of command, realistic combat orders, and controlled distribution of ammunition and rations. Airsoft replicas serve as the medium for simulated combat.

MARS events ask participants to portray soldiers from a specified nation and unit, bringing the required gear and following detailed authenticity guides. The organization provides equipment lists and guidance, while its community helps players prepare their kits. Events are held on a field in Leavenworth County near Easton, Kansas, and attract participants from across the United States and abroad.

The society’s offerings include historical scenario events, a training event, registration information, authenticity guides, rules and waivers, and event photo galleries. Its calendar features scenarios based on the WWII Eastern and Italian fronts and the Vietnam War, including Nikopol Bridgehead, The Gothic Line, and Operation Santa Fe.
