Welcome to Miel Brewery & Taproom, a microbrewery located in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana. Founded in 2018 by Alex Peyroux and Janice Montoya, Miel Brewery & Taproom was born from their shared passion for science, art, and the desire to create a community around their craft. At Miel, we pride ourselves on using as many local ingredients as possible to create our fresh and flavorful beers.
While we can't legally make mead, our namesake, which means honey in Spanish and French, inspires us to incorporate honey as an ingredient in select brews. Our mission is not only to bring you exceptional beer but also to embrace environmental responsibility and treat others with kindness and respect. We strive to be conscious of our resource usage and to be mindful of the entire lifecycle of our products.
Visit our taproom and explore our wide variety of beers, while enjoying the cozy and welcoming atmosphere. We are located at 405 Sixth Street in New Orleans, and our hours are flexible to accommodate your schedule. Join our newsletter to stay updated on Miel news, special offers, and exciting updates.
