Miet Elch

Miet Elch is a Germany-based expedition vehicle rental service run by Lars Degener, offering travelers the chance to experience an expedition truck before committing to the considerable cost of owning one. The featured vehicle is a Steyr 12M18, a classic, all-wheel-drive truck prepared for extended journeys, camping and exploration. Its equipment includes a GFK sandwich living cabin with two sleeping berths, a convertible dining area, kitchen appliances, a refrigerator-freezer, shower, toilet, diesel heating, air conditioning, solar panels and substantial water storage.

The vehicle also has front, centre and rear differential locks, an eight-speed manual transmission and a 400-litre fuel tank, with an approximate range of 2,000 kilometres.
