Mifuko | Helsinki is a Finnish design company with a mission to bring joy to their customers while improving the welfare of women in rural areas of Africa. They offer a wide range of products including baskets, bags, and home décor, all handmade by over 1,300 women artisans in rural Kenya, Tanzania, and Ghana. Their products are sold in over 30 countries worldwide.

Each Mifuko product is a unique, handmade piece that combines modern Nordic design with traditional African craftsmanship. Mifuko is a certified member of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO), ensuring fair wages and continuous orders that provide security for the artisans' future and support the well-being of the whole community. Mifuko is dedicated to sustainability and has set ambitious goals to reduce and offset their carbon footprint, aiming to be carbon neutral by 2023.

With a team in Finland and Kenya, Mifuko combines the best of both countries through their work.
