Mihai Teodor Olteanu

Mihai Teodor Olteanu’s official gallery presents the work of the Timișoara-based Romanian painter, known as the “Painter of the Revolution.” With more than five decades of artistic practice, Olteanu creates expressive, often monumental paintings in oil and acrylic on canvas, using gestural marks and richly layered impasto. His collection spans symbolic compositions, angels, landscapes, floral works, architecture, city scenes and still lifes, alongside exceptional and monumental pieces. His art is held in heritage, gallery and private collections in Romania and internationally.

Represented exclusively by Galeria Cupola, the artist offers original works with handwritten certificates of authenticity and CODEX registration. The gallery provides professional conservation and protective packing, insured art transport, and guidance on domestic and international logistics. Collectors can also access framing and conservation services, curatorial advice, and support selecting and displaying works in private or corporate spaces. Private studio visits in Timișoara are available by invitation or appointment. A monthly patronage selection of four original works supports the cultural projects of Asociația Cupola ProArte, which operates and manages the platform.
