Maqaame Ibrahim

Maqaame Ibrahim Islamic Center (MIIC) is a Muslim community hub in Bethesda, Maryland, offering religious, educational, and community services for people seeking spiritual growth and connection. The center provides daily prayers at its downtown Bethesda location on Old Georgetown Road, with visitors advised to call ahead because the doors may be locked. Jumu’ah prayers are held every Friday at 1:30 p.m. at 6601 Bradley Boulevard.

MIIC supports learning through Quran and Arabic classes for children and adults, weekly Seerah gatherings, Quran study sessions, and other religious programs. Its calendar also features talks and study groups, including events focused on the Qur’an and the Abrahamic faiths. Through interfaith outreach, the center organizes discussions and joint activities intended to encourage mutual respect and understanding.
