MIK & PIW Groep is a social organization based in Zuid-Limburg that is committed to enhancing the resilience of our society today and tomorrow. With over 1100 dedicated colleagues from six different foundations, we work tirelessly to connect childcare with social work and collaborate closely with various partners. Together, we create stronger communities.

Our foundations include Partners in Welzijn, Ecsplore, Centrum voor Jeugd en Gezin Westelijke Mijnstreek, and Knooppunt Informele zorg, all of which operate in the social domain. Additionally, we have two foundations in the childcare sector: Spelenderwijs and MIK Kinderopvang, both focused on fostering a promising start for all children. We are proud to be the driving force behind Vitaal in 046 and Opgroeien in 046 Kanskracht.

Our shared mission is to empower individuals by ensuring that everyone has the right to seize their opportunities and potential. Our dedicated staff members leverage their expertise to identify, support, and connect with the community, working closely with partners from various sectors such as education, healthcare, local government, housing corporations, and research institutions.
