Mike Dunn

Mike Dunn Design provides professional landscape design services, helping homeowners turn ideas for their yards into practical, personalized designs. The business is led by Mike Dunn, whose experience in the landscape industry began at his family’s nursery in the early 1980s. He later worked in design and management at Zaiger’s Nursery, Manteca Garden Center, Hischier Nursery, and Westurf, before starting his own design business in the mid-1990s. After stepping away from design during the recession, Dunn is returning to the work and welcomes clients planning new landscape projects.

Services include landscape design for projects ranging from simple to extravagant, along with professional estimates at a fair price. Dunn guides clients through their needs and priorities, helping shape a design around what matters most. His approach also considers water consciousness and California’s future drought requirements, aiming to create yards that are both attractive and mindful of local conditions. The website features project work, testimonials, a design process, and seasonal tips and ideas, including monthly guidance on caring for yards throughout the year.
