Mikey’s Way Foundation is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses cope with the challenges of long-term treatment. Founded by Mikey Friedman, the organization focuses on easing the boredom and isolation that can accompany treatment by helping young patients stay connected to family, friends, and school.

The foundation provides patients with laptop computers, tablets, and other internet-ready electronics. These gifts give children practical ways to communicate, maintain relationships, and participate in school while receiving care. Mikey’s Way also shares information about its mission, hospital network, and the impact of its work, and offers a wish list for supporters who want to contribute.

Beyond its direct support for patients, the foundation invites individuals and businesses to get involved through volunteering, corporate partnerships, workplace giving, donations, and event sponsorship. Its events bring communities together to support children in need. Mikey’s Way reports reaching 11,700 children, visiting 31 states, and supporting 99 hospitals.
