Mikkel Kessler

Mikkel Kessler is a Danish former professional boxer celebrated as one of the country’s greatest fighters. He recorded 46 professional victories and became a five-time world champion, winning WBA and WBC titles between 2004 and 2012. Kessler began boxing at age 13 at Christianshavn Idrætsklub, compiled 44 wins in 47 amateur bouts, and won the European Championship at 16 before turning professional. His career achievements were recognized with induction into the Hall of Fame in 2020 and Denmark’s Sports Name of the Year award in 2006.

Beyond boxing, Kessler shares his story in the book Uden parader, which recounts his upbringing, career, relationships, and the challenges of life at the top of the sport. He is also a central figure in Team Kessler, alongside longtime friend and physical therapist Thomas Macon. The team offers professional training for athletes, courses, team-building activities, and lectures on health and training, helping participants work toward their goals and build healthier habits.
