Milan Tigers

The Teen Youth Guidance Alliance (TYGA) is a youth development program of Milan Tigers Youth Organization Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Metro Detroit. Launching in 2027, TYGA is building safe, structured opportunities for children and teens ages 5 to 18, with a focus on supporting young people in Detroit as they navigate social and economic challenges. Its mission is to help youth become confident, responsible, and successful through mentorship, education, leadership development, athletics, and practical life skills.

Planned programs include mentoring and positive role models, mental health and wellness support, financial literacy and entrepreneurship education, leadership and civic engagement, after-school activities, and youth football and cheer for ages 5 to 14. TYGA also brings families, schools, businesses, and community leaders together to strengthen support for young people. Community members can volunteer, mentor, coach, partner, sponsor programs, or donate to help advance its work. Through guidance, teamwork, and community engagement, TYGA aims to help youth make healthy choices and build strong foundations for the future.
