Milchmädchen

Milchmädchen Stillberatung is a breastfeeding counselling service that helps parents build a more informed, comfortable and loving breastfeeding relationship with their child. The service highlights how misinformation, persistent myths, social pressure and well-meaning but inaccurate advice can create uncertainty and contribute to painful or prematurely ended breastfeeding experiences. Its website offers information about breastfeeding and encourages expectant parents to prepare for feeding alongside other aspects of pregnancy and birth.

For families already facing difficulties, Milchmädchen provides breastfeeding guidance and support, with appointments available to book through the site. The approach is centred on helping mothers and children navigate feeding with greater confidence, while recognising that each breastfeeding relationship can bring its own questions and challenges. Milchmädchen also aims to make reliable knowledge about breastfeeding more accessible, so parents can make informed decisions and seek appropriate help when needed.

The service is presented as a source of practical information and personal support for those preparing to breastfeed or looking for assistance during their breastfeeding journey
