About Mildmay
Mildmay Uganda is a national Non-Government Organization established in 1998 with a mission to provide comprehensive HIV & AIDS prevention, care, treatment, and training services. Over time, Mildmay Uganda has evolved and expanded its services, specializing in the delivery of comprehensive healthcare. They offer a range of services including Treatment Services, Health Systems Strengthening, Other Complementary Social Services, Health Training and Education, and Research.
Mildmay Uganda's core programs are concentrated in 16 districts of Central Uganda, with support from PEPFAR through the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). They are dedicated to a family-centered approach to prevention, care, and treatment, providing free HIV care to children and using a multidisciplinary approach to address the physical, social, spiritual, and emotional well-being of their clients. Mildmay Uganda is known for its expertise in pediatric palliative care and intensive nutritional rehabilitation, making them a beacon center in Africa.
They also focus on training and education, offering work-based, student-centered, and action learning approaches for enhanced learning. With their commitment to excellence and comprehensive care, Mildmay Uganda is making a significant impact in the healthcare sector in Uganda
