Milepost35 is an all-inclusive mountain bike summer camp based on Wy’east Academy’s private 28-acre campus on Mt. Hood in Sandy, Oregon. Serving riders ages 8 to 20, the camp welcomes beginner through expert skill levels and combines progression-focused coaching with outdoor adventure, community, and personal growth. Day and overnight experiences are designed to help young riders build skills, confidence, and friendships while taking a break from screens.
Programs include Soft Start™ instruction for beginners, a Freeride & Enduro experience focused on jumps, drops, flow features, and technique, and a “wheels on the ground” cross-country program for NICA riders and other pedaling enthusiasts. Campers ride progressive trails and use facilities including airbags, a dirt jump park, skateparks, trampolines, and training areas. Local outings may include Timberline Lodge Bike Park, Sandy Ridge, and Post Canyon.
Beyond riding, campers can enjoy hikes, yoga, arts and crafts, games, talent shows, and time with visiting professional riders. Milepost35 emphasizes supervision, safety protocols, medical support, and coaching tailored to each rider’s progression.
