Milestone Environmental

Milestone Environmental Services is an environmental infrastructure company that helps businesses manage complex waste streams and pursue sustainability goals. It operates a growing network of 15 advanced, regulated, and permitted facilities, with 24/7 service and operations. Its services include slurry injection, landfill disposal, and industrial waste management, including deep well injection for energy and other industrial wastes.

Milestone uses patented injection technology to permanently sequester waste thousands of feet underground. This approach is designed to prevent greenhouse gas emissions and water and ground contamination while helping customers manage long-term environmental liability. The company emphasizes reliable, safe, and compliant operations, supported by its facilities, technologies, and engineering expertise.

Milestone also helps customers work toward environmental performance targets, including net-zero goals and reductions in indirect Scope 3 emissions. It reports that E&P companies working with Milestone save an average of 12% on on-site disposal costs by avoiding additional carbon offset purchases. The company shares sustainability information, waste-management resources, and thought leadership, and publishes an annual sustainability report detailing how its program connects with its business strategy.
