Military Odyssey is a three-day living history show held over the August Bank Holiday weekend at Kent County Showground in Detling, Kent. The event brings together more than two thousand years of history through full-scale battle re-enactments, living history encampments, displays and military vehicles, making it an experience for history enthusiasts and families. Its programme spans periods from ancient times and the medieval era to the Napoleonic period, the World Wars, Vietnam and modern conflicts.

Visitors can explore historical scenes, including trenches and the Home Front, as well as model displays created by international experts. The show also features trade stalls offering militaria, antiques, uniforms and collectibles. Beyond the displays, guests can visit a beer hall with vintage entertainment, music and dance lessons, while campers can enjoy exclusive evening shows.

Military Odyssey provides public tickets and camping information, alongside practical resources such as maps, timetables, accessibility guidance and visitor FAQs. The 2027 event is scheduled for 28–30 August, with tickets stated to go on sale from 1 November
