About Pat Elder
Military Poisons is a brand dedicated to shedding light on the harmful effects of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), also known as "forever chemicals," used by the military. This project is spearheaded by the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) and Pat Elder, an investigative journalist focusing on military contamination.
WILPF, founded in 1915, advocates for peace, human rights, and environmental justice, with consultative status at the UN. The Earth Democracy Committee of WILPF focuses on the precautionary principle and the human right to water.
The California PFAS and the Military Project, supported by the Patagonia Foundation, aims to raise awareness about PFAS contamination in military bases. Pat Elder's investigative work has exposed the military's role in PFAS pollution, emphasizing accountability.
Join the cause by subscribing to updates and supporting the work to safeguard public health and the environment from military-related PFAS contamination.
