Milk & Cradle LLC provides personalized postpartum and breastfeeding support to families in Charlottesville, Virginia, and surrounding areas, with home and virtual visits also available in Wake, Durham, and Franklin counties in North Carolina. Founded by Tikara, whose experience as a parent of premature twins and NICU graduate shaped her approach, the practice combines personal understanding with evidence-based information. Its mission is to support families before birth and throughout the postpartum transition, offering educational and emotional care to help parents and babies find a balanced relationship and lifestyle.

Milk & Cradle assists with getting started with breastfeeding or pumping, tongue or lip ties, breast or bottle refusal, clogged ducts, low milk supply, returning to work, flange fitting, and weaning. The business also lists educational offerings, appointment scheduling, pricing, insurance resources, newsletters, and a shop. Its values emphasize knowledge, individualized support, integrity, and respect for each family’s choices, including alternative feeding methods when needed.
