Milk and Harmony

Milk and Harmony is a lactation consulting practice founded by Katie Bevan, serving families in Winter Park, Orlando, and the surrounding Florida area. Katie is a Bachelor of Science in Nursing-prepared Registered Nurse and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant with more than 14 years of experience supporting breastfeeding families. The practice offers personalized lactation and feeding guidance for parents at every stage, from prenatal preparation and early breastfeeding through returning to work, pumping, mixed feeding, and weaning.

Support is available through home visits and HIPAA-compliant telehealth consultations, including postpartum care, prenatal education, and follow-up visits. Consultations can address concerns such as latch difficulties, pain, milk transfer, engorgement, mastitis, bottle feeding, and feeding plans. Milk and Harmony also helps families navigate insurance coverage, with the aim of making high-quality lactation care accessible with little to no out-of-pocket expense when coverage allows.

Its approach emphasizes reassurance, practical adjustments, and respect for each family’s feeding goals, helping parents build confidence and find support through the challenges and transitions of their feeding journey
