BV Millwings

Millwings is a basketball club based in Winschoten, welcoming people interested in learning and playing the sport. The club brings members together for training, matches and shared enjoyment at Sporthal Stikkerlaan, with occasional training at other local sports halls. Newcomers do not need previous basketball experience or a particular height to get started. Prospective players can join four free trial training sessions and find a team that suits them before deciding whether to become members.

Millwings offers teams for youth and senior players, including groups from under-10 through under-18, as well as senior men’s teams. The club supports its teams with training schedules, match programmes, results and standings, and shares news and information about club activities. Its website also provides details about membership, club rules, governance, committees, policies, vacancies and a confidential adviser. Visitors can contact the club with questions or submit an enrolment form to join. Millwings is a community-focused option for people in and around Winschoten who want to try basketball, develop their skills and take part in team sport.
