About – Milroy's of Soho
Milroy's of Soho is London's oldest independent whisky specialist. Established in 1964 by John 'Jack' Milroy, the brand is proud of its rich history and passionate about bringing incredible spirits to today's drink lovers. In the 1960s, Milroy's became renowned for its exceptional value and extensive selection of fine wines and spirits, including a wide range of single malts, making it a go-to destination for whisky enthusiasts.
The brand's reputation grew further when John and his brother Wallace embarked on a trip to Japan, spreading the word about whisky and even bottling their own expressions. Today, Milroy's remains a whisky lover's treasure trove, with its Soho store offering a wide selection of whiskies, a bar, and a vault cocktail bar. In 2019, they expanded with Milroy's of Spitalfields, a multi-level townhouse showcasing great drinks, including a ground floor bar and shop, a cellar cocktail bar, and a private members club.
