MILUNE

Milune is a leatherworking and saddlery workshop founded in February 2020 in Thonon-les-Bains, in the Haute-Savoie region of France. Specializing in equestrian equipment, the atelier creates, repairs and maintains a wide range of horse tack, including bridles, reins, halters, training aids, girths, protective gear and driving harnesses. Its offerings also include saddle accessories, bags, leather goods and custom-made items. On request, Milune can produce leather tack for dogs, cats, alpacas and other animals.

Founder Laurence Bicot is a passionate rider and dressage competitor who holds a professional qualification in saddlery and harness-making. She also trained in driving-harness production with saddler and harness-maker Bernard Lacuche. Her work follows traditional craftsmanship, with hand stitching chosen for its appearance, strength and durability. Milune carefully selects materials, using leather from French tanneries and fittings primarily in stainless steel, German silver and brass. Each piece is made to order and can be personalized or tailored to individual requirements. The workshop also offers advice on care and maintenance.
