About Milwaukee Rep
Milwaukee Rep is one of the first and largest regional theaters in the country, with over six decades of artistic excellence. We are dedicated to creating world-class theater experiences for our audiences. Beyond entertainment, we believe in using theater as a platform for education and civil engagement, allowing diverse individuals to come together and have meaningful, respectful dialogue surrounding important societal issues.
As a catalyst for positive change in our community, we are proud to employ more than 575 artists and staff who support 700 performances annually. Our impact is made possible by the passionate support of our local residents, with a dedicated board of 40 leaders and over 800 volunteers. By keeping our work Made in Milwaukee, we contribute to the local creative community and generate over $20M in local economic activity.
