MIMICUS

Fundacja Mimicus is a Polish foundation supporting people living with chronic and rare diseases, as well as their families. Guided by the belief that illness need not define a person, it aims to provide practical assistance, understanding and health education. The foundation’s mission was inspired by its founder, Anna Rybowska, whose experience with myasthenia gravis prompted her to help other patients access support. Its activities are funded through both paid and voluntary services.

Mimicus offers legal assistance to patients and organizations, along with comprehensive support in establishing and developing NGOs. Its services also include website, online store and platform creation; marketing and content strategy; social media management; copywriting; and brand communications. With a focus on medical and health-related communication, the foundation prepares educational content, develops health-sector websites and delivers health education workshops. Additional offerings include editing and proofreading publications, practical training in Microsoft Office, and personalized clinical meal plans tailored to health conditions.
