About Malaysian Institute of Medical Laboratory Sciences
The Malaysian Institute of Medical Laboratory Sciences (MIMLS) is a non-profit professional organization that represents medical laboratory practitioners in Malaysia. Established in 1988, MIMLS aims to advance the medical laboratory profession in the country. With a history rooted in the merging of three medical laboratory technologist associations, MIMLS promotes the development and advancement of medical laboratory sciences.
As the official website of MIMLS, their platform offers various services and resources to its members. These include access to the Code of Ethics, Standard of Practice, and the opportunity to engage with the Executive Councils. MIMLS also provides information about local and international affiliations, membership details, publications, news, and upcoming events.
Notably, the institute will be hosting the 7th Congress of Asia Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists (AAMLS) in conjunction with the 32nd National Scientific Conference of MIMLS in October 2023.
