NPO法人みなしご救援隊犬猫譲渡センター is a dedicated organization focused on rescuing and nurturing dogs and cats, with main operational hubs in Hiroshima and a branch in Tokyo. The center houses between 50 to 100 animals at the Hiroshima headquarters and 3 to 15 at the Tokyo location, offering them a safe environment while searching for loving forever homes. They are actively involved in educating potential pet owners about responsible adoption and care, ensuring that adopters are well-informed about the needs and characteristics of their new pets.

The center encourages public visits for adoption inquiries and volunteering opportunities, and they host adoption events regularly. They require a modest donation to cover a portion of the animals' care costs upon adoption. The center also runs a pet hotel and grooming service, providing additional services to pet owners, fostering a community committed to animal welfare. Through their efforts, they aim to achieve a zero-euthanasia rate for sheltered animals while raising awareness about animal rights and responsible pet ownership.
