The creator of Mind42, Stefan Schuster, is an IT freelancer and consultant based in Vienna, Austria. Originally developed as a project within IRIAN Solutions GmbH, a software consultancy company, Mind42 has since been taken over by Stefan and continues to be developed and maintained by him.
Initially intended to be a freemium web application, Mind42 accidentally became entirely free. Rather than limit the features or impose paid content, advertisements are used to support the platform. However, an ad-free account is available for users who prefer a seamless experience.
