The Ministry of Defence of Cameroon (MINDEF) is the government institution responsible for the country’s defence and armed forces. Its official website provides information about the ministry’s leadership, mission, organisation, recruitment, and activities, alongside news and media resources. The site also connects visitors with Cameroon’s defence and security bodies, including the Army, Air Force, Navy, National Gendarmerie, firefighters, and the Secretariat General, as well as services for veterans and war victims.

MINDEF’s public-facing work includes reporting on military training, command appointments, national commemorations, security assessments, and the preparation and deployment of Cameroonian contingents for international missions such as MINUSCA. The ministry also highlights partnerships with industrial organisations and initiatives supporting the socioeconomic reintegration of veterans and war victims. Its news coverage follows defence events and activities across the country, while its media section offers videos and other content. The website serves as an information and engagement portal for citizens, prospective recruits, partners, and people seeking updates on Cameroon’s defence institutions and commitments.
