Mindful Fashion New Zealand (MFNZ) is a not-for-profit organization that was established in 2019 with the aim of strengthening the fashion and textile industry in New Zealand. Our focus is on creating a sustainable, circular, and thriving future for the industry. We believe in a future where businesses, nature, and people can all thrive together.

At MFNZ, we support our members and the wider industry through advocacy, providing sustainable business resources, and facilitating collaborative solutions. Membership is open to all members of New Zealand's clothing and textile community who share our vision and mission and are committed to continual improvement. Our diverse membership includes designers, textile suppliers, makers and manufacturers, embroiderers, and trim suppliers, among others.

As an organization, we have outlined our guiding principles in our Charter, which emphasize honesty, integrity, cultural values, diversity, and environmental stewardship. We encourage our members to maintain high standards of business ethics, provide supportive workplaces, and engage positively with each other and the communities they operate in.
