MindfulMona

MindfulMona is the practice of Mona Susami, offering mindful and trauma-sensitive support to families and animals. Its approach focuses on helping people meet challenging experiences with greater awareness and care, while fostering calm, confidence and connection. For expectant and new parents, services include doula support during birth, preparation for childbirth, assistance in the postpartum period, trauma-informed consultation and self-help groups.

Mona also supports families processing difficult birth or postpartum experiences, including situations where a hoped-for birth journey unfolded differently. For animals and their people, MindfulMona offers sensitive guidance, including Trust Technique sessions, to encourage trust, calm and a stronger relationship. This support may be relevant after stressful or traumatic events, or when people are seeking new ways to address challenges with their animal.

The process begins with an introductory conversation to clarify needs and identify suitable support; current services and appointments are then shared by email. Through individual guidance and group options, MindfulMona aims to meet each person or family where they are and support their next steps
