Health Solutions West Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports mental health and addiction care on Colorado’s Western Slope. Working alongside local nonprofits, city and county governments, private therapists, healthcare providers, and other community partners, the Foundation helps identify unmet needs and develop collaborative ways to improve access to care. Its mission is grounded in the belief that stronger communities are built by supporting individuals and families through recovery.
The Foundation raises funds for priorities including the Continuum of Care Fund and women-only residential rehabilitation through the Women’s Recovery Center. It also invites community members to give, host a presentation, or spread the word about mental health needs and available support. A further focus is community training and education: the Foundation is working to double the number of people on the Western Slope who receive Mental Health First Aid training. This program helps participants identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and addiction.
