About Mindwise Project
Mindwise Project is a collective of creative and mental health professionals dedicated to transforming the local mental health situation. With a deep passion and commitment to their cause, they believe that by working together with fellow stakeholders and leaders, they can make a difference. The team is comprised of individuals with extensive experience and expertise in various fields.
Stacey Camacho, the Director of Mental Health Affairs, brings over 18 years of clinical experience in psychotherapy and a deep understanding of trauma, depression/anxiety, attachment issues, and substance abuse. Maria O'Brien, the Director of Digital Development, has over 20 years of experience in digital design and solutions consultancy, with a focus on social innovation and sustainable development projects. Arnaldo James, the Director and Chief Operations Officer, centers his work on equity, sustainability, and feminism.
With a background in graphic and product design, project strategy, and curation, Arnaldo organizes safe spaces for collaboration and community building. Rhonda Chan Soo, the Creative Director, is a documentary filmmaker and producer specializing in social issues, environment, and culture. She aims to produce nonfiction film and TV content highlighting mental health, environmental education, and cultural identity.
Elysse Marcellin, the Director of Research, brings extensive research experience and a passion for advocacy and activism. Alyssa Khan, Co-Lead Digital, holds a Master of Public Health degree and a background in neuroscience. Her research experience has focused on mental health.
Mindwise Project offers a range of services including individual, family, and group counseling, as well as yoga, meditation, and mindfulness classes. They also create and curate digital content to improve access to mental health resources. Through their work, they aim to create sustainable and innovative solutions for better mental health for all
