Mined reCREATIONS is a Cambridge, Ontario studio that transforms meaningful garments into distinctive Memory Bags. Its work gives treasured clothing a new purpose, helping customers preserve the experiences and memories associated with special pieces. Presented as the home of the original Memory Bag, the brand focuses on creating bags from customers’ own garments rather than treating them as ordinary materials.
The studio offers different Memory Bag styles and invites customers to explore its designs and learn about the creative process. It also shares news and event updates and introduces the artist behind the work. Customers can arrange appointments by FaceTime or Zoom; the website notes that in-person meetings were on hold during the COVID-19 period. Studio hours are generally Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with meetings available by arrangement.
Based at 1916 Coronation Boulevard in Cambridge, Mined reCREATIONS can be contacted by phone or through its online contact form. The site also provides policies covering privacy, purchases, shipping, tax and returns.
