Ministerio de Gobierno de Panamá

The Ministry of Government of Panama (MINGOB) is a public institution focused on contributing to stronger governance in the country. Its work spans government administration, indigenous affairs, legal processes, public safety initiatives, and support for people in state custody. The ministry is led by government authorities and organized through departments and affiliated programs.

MINGOB provides information and services for citizens, including legal procedures, forms, correspondence inquiries, and applications for refugee status. It also maintains a directory of legal entities and publishes transparency information and statistics. Through its programs and partner institutions, the ministry addresses areas such as humanitarian coordination, disaster management, the prison system, community justice, and the development of Panama’s Indigenous peoples.

The ministry shares institutional news, public announcements, reports, and educational resources through its website and social media channels. Its activities include training on constitutional literacy, initiatives supporting rehabilitation and social reintegration, and programs within correctional facilities. MINGOB also offers channels for complaints and reports, helping the public access information and engage with government services.
