MiniGiraffen is a parent cooperative preschool located in Mjärdevi Science Park, Linköping, Sweden. Designed around a small, welcoming community, it accommodates approximately 30 children and emphasizes personal attention, security and close relationships. The preschool is run as an economic association whose member families contribute practical support, while an annually elected board oversees its finances and operations. Children are supported by engaged educators and a stable staff team that has worked together for more than 20 years.

MiniGiraffen’s educational approach combines project work, play and outdoor learning. The nearby forest, preschool grounds and local area serve as learning environments where children can explore and learn by doing. Creativity, joy, development and a connection with nature are central to everyday life. Meals are prepared from scratch by the preschool’s cook, using organic ingredients when possible. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided, and allergies and special dietary needs are accommodated. MiniGiraffen welcomes families interested in applying or arranging a personal visit.
