Minilite® Wheels Italia brings the iconic British motorsport wheel brand to enthusiasts in Italy. The Minilite story began in the United Kingdom in the early 1960s, when engineer Derek Power designed a lighter, stronger alternative to the steel wheels used in competition. Early models were made from magnesium alloy, helping reduce unsprung weight and improve handling, acceleration and braking.
Their success in rallying and circuit racing made them closely associated with the Mini Cooper S and other celebrated cars, including the Ford Escort, Lotus Cortina, Ford Capri, Triumph, MG and Jaguar. From the 1970s, aluminium-alloy versions broadened the range while retaining the distinctive eight-spoke design. Today, Minilite wheels continue to appeal to owners of classic cars, restoration projects and competition vehicles, combining heritage with an authentic racing style.
Minilite Wheels Italia states that it has officially imported original Minilite® wheels since 1998 and presents available wheel sizes and answers to frequently asked questions. The site also provides customer contact details and information about its privacy and cookie policy
