Mini Medics is a first aid education provider focused on helping kindergarten-aged children learn how to respond to medical emergencies and call for help. Founded by two mothers, the organisation aims to empower young children with practical skills and confidence, making every kindy kid they meet a “Mini Medic.”
Its program is delivered through incursions at kindergartens and childcare centres across South East Queensland. Sessions cover age-appropriate first aid topics in a caring, supportive and engaging way, with an emphasis on making learning enjoyable and relevant for children. Mini Medics also provides an all-inclusive take-home pack to help parents and caregivers reinforce the skills children learn. The pack includes a certificate of completion, a parent flyer, educational resources and access to the Triple Zero Hero training app, which supports children as they practise and retain their new knowledge.
Mini Medics invites early learning services to book its program and describes its incursions as relevant, engaging and fun.
