The African Minerals Policy Forum – Mining in Motion (AMPF–MiM) is a continental platform focused on advancing Africa’s mineral future through policy alignment, coordination and implementation. Its 2026 summit will take place in Accra, Ghana, on 19–21 October, with events at Destiny Arena and the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel. Building on the 2025 gathering, the forum brings together African ministers, policymakers, mining companies, development partners and other stakeholders to move from discussion toward coordinated action and long-term transformation.
The programme features conference sessions, seminars, speakers and opportunities for participants to share expertise and build connections across the mining value chain. Attendees can register to participate, while organisations can explore sponsorship and partnership opportunities. The event also invites industry professionals to apply as speakers and offers travel and accommodation information, media accreditation, news and video content, and post-event reports. Its themes include responsible mining, local growth, artisanal and small-scale mining, value-chain development and stronger regional partnerships.
