MiniUrban – Zeit für Bindung und Bildung is a family and early-childhood education practice founded by Anja Urban, a graduate in childhood pedagogy (B.A.). Based around Suhl and Meiningen, it supports parents from pregnancy through their child’s first three years and beyond, with a particular focus on secure attachment and responsive, needs-oriented parenting.

For families, MiniUrban offers THEKLA and THEKLA Herznah parent-and-child courses, as well as Belly Basics birth preparation, a course for expectant siblings, and workshops on introducing solid foods. The eight-session parent-and-child courses explore topics such as attachment, sleep, toilet learning and children’s growing independence. Sessions include play, crafts, movement, music and opportunities for parents to exchange experiences in a welcoming setting.

MiniUrban also provides educational and experiential learning services for professionals working with children and young people. Drawing on Urban’s background as an educator and training in experiential education, these include workshops, short presentations and group activities, such as special outdoor days.
