Miniventure Mac is a personal adventure blog by Melinda “Mac” MacArthur, an amateur adventurer who celebrates the idea that meaningful experiences do not need to be grand or far-flung. Through lively first-person stories, Mac shares travel, hiking, and outdoor explorations, inviting readers to come along and find inspiration for their own small-scale adventures.

The blog features accounts of visits to national parks and scenic destinations, including Indiana Dunes, Shenandoah, Mammoth Cave, and locations in the Shawangunk Ridge. Posts also cover solo hiking, unexpected moments on the trail, travel preparations, and personal reflections. Alongside the blog, Miniventure Mac offers resources and a bucket list to help readers discover ideas for places to go and things to do. The site also includes information about Mac, frequently asked questions, and contact details for questions, requests, or partnership opportunities. With an approachable, candid voice, Miniventure Mac makes outdoor exploration feel accessible, whether readers are planning a major trip or simply looking for a nearby place to explore.
