Mini V Pre-School is an early years education and childcare provider based at Vernon Primary School in Poynton, Cheshire. The pre-school offers a safe, welcoming environment where children learn through indoor and outdoor play, exploration and activities shaped by their interests. Its child-centred approach supports confidence, independence, social interaction and problem-solving, with learning tailored to each child’s abilities and developmental needs.

A qualified, caring team provides educational activities for different age groups and encourages children’s curiosity and teamwork. Each child is assigned a key person who observes their progress, identifies next steps and serves as a familiar contact for families. Staff undertake ongoing professional development, and the pre-school reports having a high proportion of paediatric first-aid-trained staff.

Mini V provides day sessions from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a breakfast club from 7:30 a.m. and an after-school club until 6 p.m., in line with Club Vernon. Families can arrange a visit to see the facilities and learning environment.
