Minnie Me Nursery is an early-years childcare and preschool provider in Buxton, offering care and learning for children aged three months to five years. Its qualified, caring staff aim to give children a positive start, helping them build friendships, enjoy play and develop the skills they need for school and beyond. The nursery’s curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage, with a focus on communication and language, physical development, and personal, social and emotional development, alongside literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and expressive arts and design.
Learning combines child-led play with planned activities, supported by indoor and outdoor environments that encourage curiosity, creativity and independence. Minnie Me works closely with families, sharing children’s progress and experiences through the Tapestry learning journal and a private Facebook page. The nursery also offers a breakfast club for children attending Fairfield Infant and Nursery School, including breakfast and a supervised walk to school.
Families can seek help applying for 15-hour funding for eligible two-year-olds and extended 30-hour funding for three- and four-year-olds
