MIPOTY, or the Mizo Poetry Society, is an organization dedicated to advancing poetry in the Mizo language and supporting the people who write it. The society welcomes Mizo speakers who have composed at least one poem in Mizo; membership is available for a fee of ₹200. Its work includes publishing poetry and literary material, with resources such as e-books, the Lentu Zaikungthar series, and Mizo poetry books. MIPOTY brings members and readers together through activities including poetry evenings, seminars, book releases, Foundation Day events, and World Poetry Day celebrations.
